At ATC, we have made custom set design our specialty, and our XXL projection screens play a key role in staging major events. For several years, our creations have participated in many festivals, offering unique and immersive visual experiences.
Giant screens transform festivals and open-air screenings!
At the Festival Interceltique de Lorient, our screens have become a central element, used every year in the Stade du Moustoir to enhance performances and concerts. As a Breton company, this partnership has a special resonance for us, because it brings us closer to the Celtic culture, deeply rooted in us.
In Paris, we also collaborated with the Annecy animation film festival or the Villette festival, where our screens were installed outdoors. They transformed this urban space into an immersive stage, allowing high-quality projection under the stars for a unique cultural experience. It is one of the largest screens in the world with its 32m base and 18.50m height.
Another project that has been a big deal was our collaboration with the Festival Cinéma Paradiso at the Louvre. With the glass pyramid, our projection screens have transformed the Louvre’s courtyard into an open-air cinema, creating a unique atmosphere for film lovers, while highlighting the iconic architecture of the place.
Whether indoors, outdoors, for cultural, artistic or film festivals, our projection screens meet the requirements of each project by combining aesthetics and technical performance. At ATC, we are proud to contribute to the success of these events.
The Technical Challenges, the Behind-the-Scenes of the Installation
Installing a giant inflatable screen is not an easy task, especially in an environment like the Festival Interceltique de Lorient, where the influx of spectators is massive and where weather conditions can sometimes be unpredictable. Brittany is known for its capricious climate, and our experts had to take into account several factors to ensure that the screen would not only be functional but also secure and stable throughout the festival.
The main challenge in designing this screen was to ensure that it was weather resistant. Thanks to the use of high-quality materials, this screen is not only resistant to wind and rain, but it has also been designed to be quickly mounted and disassembled according to the needs of the event.
Thanks to our technical expertise and the durability of our designs, these screens continue to be used year after year.
